My name is Heidi and I am a professional daycare provider. I am licensed by the State of Minnesota for both daycare and elementary education. Previously I taught second grade at St. John Catholic School. I have a degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University. I also continue to take classes to keep my skills up to date. I have certifications / training in First Aid, CPR, Shaken Baby, SIDS, The Power of Play, Car seats, Love and Logic. I recently have completed classes about natural and logical consequences and early childhood curriculum writing.
My husband Jamie and I have a son, Christopher. He is the light of our lives. When he was born we made the decision for me to switch careers and care for children out of our home. I have really enjoyed the change.
This year we were also blessed with our second son, Joseph. He was born right before Thanksgiving and is our precious little baby. We are so blessed to have our boys. Jamie is great with the kids and on his days off you can find him playing with them, just like a big kid himself! He is a great dad and really enjoys being around children. And the kids just love it when he is here, the whole dad vibe is something they just love!
Jamie, Christopher, Joseph and I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially in the summer, when we take the boat out on the area lakes and rivers. We also enjoy fishing and camping on the weekends.
Jamie is originally from the area and has most of his family nearby. Heidi grew up on the edge of the cities and moved here in 1996. We both consider Rochester to be our home.
